Today, the 17th of March is Red Nose Day 2015, so are you getting your bake on for a local fundraising bake sale, or are you strapping on your running shoes for a charity fun run? Red Nose day is all about Comic Relief and doing fun and interesting things in order to raise money for charity. Whether you want to raise on your own or you are planning a big event with your whole sorority, it makes a big difference.
Organising a fun run? Why not make it big?
Organise the run by creating a Facebook event that people can easily join. Why not have it in a big city or around Hyde Park for example? People are always willing to do something funny for charity, so you could have a specific theme for your run such as Polka Dot, or even fluffy animals!
Spreading the Cheer in a Coach or Minibus
Or you could try something a little more different by hiring out a coach and ‘spreading comedy cheer’. Sort of like a March time comic relief Santa Claus! Make little souvenirs such as badges and magnet to give out at towns you visit and encourage people to laugh as well as making a donation to charity.
After all, it’s all in good fun!
