Rhythm is a strange thing. Some people have it, most people think they have it and some people know nothing about it at all. However how do we perceive rhythm? How do we see it? The Sunday Art School in Liverpool is trying to answer this very question in a special workshop hosted on the 26th October 2014.
Sunday Art School invites both adults and children to create artworks together in a series of free, Sunday sessions, with each session focused on a different area of the modern artistic world.
On the 26th October the lesson is Rhythm and how repetitive actions and processes help us to experience the joys of rhythm.
Rhythm is an invisible thing, however through movement and making we are able to make the invisible visible by learning how rhythm works and how we apply it to modern art, be it in a dance, a song or even in a daily exercise.
