As an internationally famous film and musical, The Producers is well known for its outgoing humour, controversial topics and occasional breaking of the fourth wall. Whether you love musicals or you are looking for a good romp, with a stunning cast including a few well known comedic faces, The Producers is for you.
Hire a coach to Woking from the 18th to the 23rd May to catch The Producers on tour, guest starring Ross Noble the stand-up comedian as Franz Liebkind, a world war veteran and Hitler fanboy-turned-playwright, whose help is enlisted by Producers Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom in an attempt to produce the worst show Broadway has ever seen.
The premise follows Bialystock and Bloom as they try the heist of the decade; getting the worst script, the worst director and the worst actors to put on Broadway’s most expensive and offensive flop so that they can squirrel away the production costs.
What follows is an array of hilarity as the daring duo attempt to convince their new ‘friends’ to embark on this ‘musical’ journey with them by singing songs, joining cults, agreeing to ludicrous demands and even hiring a sexy actress/secretary to play the leading lady. If you love random and slightly offensive humour, The Producers is certainly for you.
The tour is playing in a number of theatres across the country and the full list of dates can be found on the website.
