As the summer rolls in there are a number of huge beautiful parks that you can visit across the country, for a picnic, for a day out with the family or even just for a short stroll to clear your head. Hyde Park is a gorgeous park located in central London, surprisingly close to the hustle and bustle of the big city and is one of London’s eight Royal Parks. It spans 350 acres and is home to a number of famous landmarks including the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain.
Throughout the year there are a number of activities occurring within Hyde Park, including seasonal courses, summer festivals, music festivals and more. Hyde Park is also part of a number of projects which help to conserve the park and other world class natural and built environments by increasing awareness about the affects we have on our environment.
Hyde Park is within walking distance of Lancaster Gate Tube Station and can be easily reached by hired coach or minibus if you are visiting from the surrounding areas or further afield such as Brighton or Cardiff.
